We are very excited. Corey got a job as Assistant Academic Dean at a college in .......................... ...........................Kentucky!!. Yes we are moving right where we wanted to. We are going to be living about 15 minutes from Cincinnati. I am moving up with Lars tomorrow to paint the apartment and Corey will be coming up on Monday with the Uhaul and with all of our belongings. we are more than excited. After being in limbo and homeless for the last 2 months we finally have a place to call home. I'll post pictures. Corey is finally going to get a studio. We are moving into a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment and corey will be taking over the 3rd bedroom as his studio. I'm excited cause the complex has a 24 hour fitness center and tennis courts and sand volleyball. I am finally going to get into shape since having Lars. Ya i am still not in my clothes yet. Almost but you can still see a little bump in the front. Course when you consider, during my pregnancy, Lars had nowhere to go but out it, would make sense that i still have a little excess in the front.
When i get my computer set up i will post more pics and stuff.
I am soooo excited. I don't think i can say that enough. And yes i will finally have a kitchen with a bigger counter than my 1 foot wide space i had before. HOORAY!! oh ya did i mention a dishwasher......my kitchen will finally look clean all the time now. :)

My Niece Hailey holding Lars. and Lars doing his Superman fist in the air move:)
Lars sure hated these glasses but i couldn't resist putting them on him. They were hilarious.
And my part of my famly. My Mom Dad sis Rae and Lars. This was a fun pic before i had to leave. I had a great 10 days visiting my fam and for them to meet our darling Lars. It was great. I got to work on sewing a new Mei Tai like wrap for Lars which i will post as soon as we get settled.

visit with Corey's Family
update
You can't beat a smile like that. Lars has gotten really smiley and interactive. In the morning especially he is very talkative. He is also starting to laugh. It is sooooo cute. However, with all this interaction he is also learning to that if he pouts someone comes and picks him up. He has been faking it a bit and it has been funny. I have been trying to call him on it so he doesn't become a little whiner...........But he is still sooo cute.

Bowling Green (where we are located right now) just got a single A baseball team. We went to a game a couple of weeks ago and Lars loved it. He stayed awake for the whole game and loved interacting with all the people around us. It was fun to watch.
When Corey was young his family had a tradition of buying a baseball pennant for every game he went to. His room had them hung all over. We decided to continue this tradition. We bought Lars a pennant and decided that we were going to get a mini bat to hang in his room for every game we go to. It should be good.

Lars and the Bjarnson Cousins
Friday, July 24, 2009
Things have been a bit crazy lately and i haven't been able to update this. We left NYC almost 1 month ago and it seems we have been on the go and traveling since then.
We left NYC on Sunday afternoon with Corey's family and drove up to Palmyra to see the church history sites there. We left Palmyra on Tuesday and drove down to KY. We stayed the 1st week with Corey's Brother and his family in Northern KY because that they would be blessing their baby girl. On Thursday we drove to Louisville (1 1/2 hours South) to pick up Grandma & Grandpa Bjarnson and continued to drive to Bowling Green (another 2 hour drive south) On Sunday Morning we woke up super early to drive the 3 1/2 hours to N. KY for the baby blessing. We stayed the night again and went to the zoo and celebrated my nephew and sister in law's Birthdays. We then drove home Monday night. I was so tired i slept almost the whole way home. We stayed in Bowling Green almost 2 weeks i think and then on monday this week we drove back up to N.KY. To say the least we have been busy. But we are back in Bowling green again and relaxing for the next trip north.
Here are some updated pictures of our Lil' Guy! He is getting so big. He was a total rockstar in all our travels. We did discover that he needs noise during his naps. He was so used to hearing sirens and noises from the city, and now that we live in a very quiet neighborhood and house he doesn't sleep well or long if we don't have some noise around. We put a humidifier in the room and play classical music and he does just fine. The other day my mother in law was trying to get him to sleep and he was fighting it. She gave up and laid him on the couch and began to vacuum. Within just a minute or so he was sound asleep. I can't get luckier can I....with a boy who will sleep through the vacuum cleaner. I love it!
Lars smiling. He has the cutest little dimple on his left cheek

Our Heavy-Weight Champ
Lars is officially 3 weeks old yesterday. And quite the heavy-weight. He is doing great and is a very relaxed and a happy boy now that I know I really have to avoid certain foods. Chocolate makes him throw up everything and dairy just makes him not feel good and gives his spit up a different texture. Also I discovered that broccoli makes him very gassy. But he does tolerate when I eat beans which I am glad about cause they are a regular feature in my diet.
We went to the doctor on monday for his check-up. Here are the latest figures
Weight: 11 lbs
Height: 22 1/2"
Head Circumference: 14 1/2"
And the doctor thought because he is exclusively breast-fed that he wouldn't be gaining weight. in 3 weeks he has gone from 9 lbs8 oz to 11 lbs. I think that is pretty good.
This is his favorite sleeping position
This is his favorite sleeping positionAND .......even though i have yet to really capture it on camera (our apartment lighting really stinks) Our little boy has strawberry blond hair and it seems to be getting redder. People actually notice the moment they see him and wonder where he got it from. I am way excited about it. I just hope that it stays.
